How to tie dye a dress

Tie dye Chronicles...♥

I used an old white Forever 21 dress. I used Tulip tie dye from amazon. I didn't do anything special to this dress. I used turquoise and hot pink color dyes. I used a lot of blue it stain it over stained the fabric more than the pink. I just bunched it up with rubber bands and then I let it dry for about 6 hours then I took off the rubber bands and it was hard because it is a dress and you can miss some spots. I wanted a bold statement. And this is what I achieved and I wasn't in love with it, so I bleached it in a bowl afterwards.

Click here for the Tie Dye I used.
I bleached the dress in the bowl for about 10 minutes.
After I left it in bleach for 10 minutes this was the results.
It came out this pretty pastel mint color.
I love the results ♥
I used some navy blue, and dark green and light blue dyes for
this dress. I bunched it up together and I let it sit for a day drying.
I like how this dress came out it gave me earth vibes.
This dress leaked a bit when I dried it, but it came out good. Have fun and stay safe.
Most important try to do things that you always wanted to try and have fun doing it.

Tie dye step by step

My first tie dye experience ♥
I found this helpful guide step by step on pinterest and I used the same Tulip brand for my first tie dye experiment. I know in times like this it's hard to stop thinking. Self love and Self care is essential right now and also doing the things on your bucket list that you always put off. Keep yourself busy. But most important have fun while doing it.

Stay home and tie dye with me

I found these step extremely helpful when I was trying to tie dye myself. Any technique can work I personally just scrunched mines into a ball with rubber bands because I wanted a random pattern.
Also don't forget to wear gloves.
It does dye your hands for a couple of days if you don't wear any or forget.
My tie dye Tulip kit I used.
This kit comes with gloves, a plastic sheet and 36 colors.
I bought mines from Hobby Lobby a while back for only $21 on sale.

So here are some of looks I came up with..
My first shirt I made it came out pretty good.
"Ok, But First Coffee" quote I bought this t-shirt from
Amazon a while back. Click here for t- shirt

An old Forever 21 dress that I got
to dye with light pinks & yellows.
Baby pink & white hat I made.
I bought this hat from Hobby Lobby for only $4
I bought these sneakers at Hobby Lobby for
only $10 and I wanted to try tie dying sneakers.
My first attempt..

 Not so bad.
The coolest set I own right and
probably my favorite looks I made so far.
 One of my favorite tops.
Orange, yellow & peach
Turquoise &  a hint of green

The colors in this one speaks for itself.
 Purples & Lavender
This was my first experience tie dying. I'm sure in time I could start making better designs, but I think it came out pretty good for my first time. Be Safe.

Rest and Love ♥
